Classic Mel Blanc/Warner Brothers cartoon. Mel Blanc is the greatest voice man the world has ever had. Grew up with those cartoons.

Mel Blanc was a fantastic comic as well. As far as the cartoons themselves, I couldn't give them enough praise. I also grew up with them, but they are sadly featured less and less on TV nowadays. Glad I bought the DVD's.

Awesome, often when someone asks a rhetorical "would I do X" question, I just want to respond with "you might, rabbit, you might." It's a terrible thing to want to make this reference and knowing there's a good chance the person you're talking to won't get it, particularly if said person is under a certain age or didn't come from a TV-friendly childhood. I wish I had this on my phone all queued up to show, but of course without the rest of the cartoon for context it looses a little something and you mostly can't make up for a poor comedy / cartoon background. Reminds me of a guy I knew whose wife was only a couple of years younger, and he had to tell her when a song came on, "that's the Beatles." Fortunately the Jalopnik / Oppo crowd usually doesn't disappoint, no matter how obscure the reference. Good to be among like-minded folk.

Thank God I have a couple of close friends who get nearly every Princess Bride and Bugs Bunny reference I care to make. Oh, and of course the readers of Jalopnik / Oppo on whom I can unload even more. Rarely do I throw out a reference and have it die unnoticed or unappreciated.
